He's the author of three poetry collections, including "Angle of Yaw," which critic Craig Morgan Teicher called "highly ambitious," describing its best poems as "entertaining, sharp, disturbing, and excellent."

His second collection, “Angle of Yaw,” was a finalist for the National Book Award.
