Emergency services were called to the scene at about 17:20 BST following reports of a disturbance and a cordon remains in place while the investigation continues.

The force said the man, from Uckfield, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision, which happened at about 13:45 BST on Saturday.

She was due to start at 06:00 BST, but the inquest at Nottingham Coroner's Court heard she was running late because she had initially been given the wrong start date.
