Manocchio is part of a wave of consumers who, in the past two years, have been buying mid-century modern burlwood buffets, 1970s velvet sofas and French farm tables.

To decorate the dining room, which doubles as her editing bay and work space, Shirinian chose pieces in a mix of calming neutral tones: a vintage burlwood table from Lawson Fenning, a brass pendant light by Apparatus and Italian vintage metal and wood chairs sourced by 45 Three Modern Vintage.

The salon is set up for entertaining or dining with the expandable table, the galley has plenty of counter space and the lower helm is Euro-cool with swoopy curves and burlwood panels.
