Kim Conchie, chief executive of the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, points to a lack of seasonal workers this summer, following Brexit.

Kim Conchie from Cornwall Chamber of Commerce said while it would be disingenuous to say the G7 had no impact he blamed the rise in cases on the increased number of tourists.

“It still feels like there’s an institutional bias against places like Cornwall when it comes to CBILS,” said Kim Conchie, chief executive of the chamber of commerce in Cornwall, one of the poorest counties in England.
