Gen. Johann de Kalb, who led a division of Maryland and Delaware Continentals southward and died from wounds sustained in the Battle of Camden.

Her family said Gosnell suffered a brain hemorrhage after a fall at her home and died Dec. 1 in a hospital in De Kalb, Ill., where she lived.

Known professionally by her maiden name, Gosnell was a native of De Kalb.

One of the state’s largest counties, De Kalb in the metro Atlanta area, has yet to report any results as of early Wednesday.

It announced plans Tuesday for its De Kalb factory.
