The only other downhill facilities - which create trail obstacles, called a jump line, with table tops, step-ups, step-downs, berms and jumps, and transport riders to the top again and again - are Beech Mountain Ski Resort in Avery and Watauga counties and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort in Banner Elk.

“I was thinking ‘Jump Line,’ for John, Matt, P. A. — J.M.P., jump,” King said.

"There's a little bump down there at 1,000 feet and when you hit it, it's like going over a jump," Line said.
