Sentiment in the US is a "significant concern" for Nike as it directly affects demand for its footwear, says Sheng Lu, a professor of fashion and apparel studies at the University of Delaware.

Lu is suspected of confronting the 43-year-old woman and her 13-year-old son in their driveway and forcing them inside the home.

While his daughter is “onto other things now,” Lu is still all in.

"To enhance affordability, the introduction of cost-effective generics is essential," Kevin Lu, associate professor at the University of South Carolina's College of Pharmacy, told the BBC.

Lu stressed, however, that many specifics of the change remain unclear, including how customs agents will enforce such an order given the short notice and the large volume of products.
