General Donahue was the commander on the ground on Aug. 29 when an American MQ-9 Reaper drone shot a Hellfire missile at a white Toyota Corolla in a neighborhood near the airport.

On Monday, the Houthis said they had shot down a US-made MQ-9 Reaper drone over Yemen.

The work was led by researchers from UCL, King’s College London and the University of Leeds and funded by the UK mental health charity MQ Mental Health Research.

In a separate development on Monday, the Houthis said they had shot down a US-made MQ-9 Reaper drone over Yemen’s Dhamar province and released videos which they said showed the charred wreckage on the ground.

Funds raised by the Lord Mayor's Appeal support three charities: MQ Mental Health Research, a mental health research charity; Homewards, a homelessness charity; and National Numeracy, which works to build maths skills across London.
