A 16-year-old girl named Itzel, with a long ponytail and bright eyes, sat outside the courtroom doors last week watching her toddler cousin as she waited for the judge to call her case.

Her family have now confirmed she may have also been carrying a green jacket and had her hair in a ponytail.

"The last thing I remember of Brenda was her ponytail swishing as she walked out of the door," she wrote.

Standing nearby was a man whose hairline was desperately trying to escape his head, yet somehow, he was still rocking a ponytail, fighting for its life.

He was soft-spoken and quirky, his long silver hair kept in a ponytail.
