The Trump administration’s slash-and-burn approach to federal programs has delivered a considerable hit to the nation’s environment, but experts say its plans to repeal hard-won protections for clean air and water will also directly jeopardize Americans’ health — and their wallets.

Trump and Musk’s slash-and-burn approach to government, to the economy, to relationships with traditional allies, and the way they have reduced the White House to a Tesla dealership amply demonstrate their lack of concern for the American people.

But with Musk's slash-and-burn tactics, those veterans are being cut off from what is often their very last option for care.

So, when the Trump administration arrived with its almost gleeful slash-and-burn crusade against the federal workforce, he was stunned and heartbroken to be swept up in it.
