A £30m arrival from fellow City Football Group club Troyes last summer, the 20-year-old has endured an inconsistent debut campaign.

In the summer they signed winger Savinho from Troyes and brought back midfielder Ilkay Gundogan from Barcelona.

He came through the Paris St-Germain academy before moving to French side Troyes in July 2022, where he scored four goals in 32 appearances.

Champions Manchester City have brought in Brazil winger Savinho from sister club Troyes for £30.8m, while Arsenal have recruited Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori, who impressed for Italy at Euro 2024, for up to £42m.
