While kwaito's main language was initially Tsotsitaal, it is now performed in nearly all of South Africa's languages and dialects.

The group are a spaza rap crew – the name comes from spaza shops, general stores prevalent in township areas – and rap in a mixture of Xhosa, Sotho, English and the street language known as Tsotsitaal.
