The Monarchs repeated as champions after building an early 11-0 lead before Bosco freshman quarterback Koa Malau’ulu gave them a scare in a wild game.

Malau’ulu connected with Madden Williams for a nine-yard touchdown with a Mater Dei rusher in his face and fired a 53-yard touchdown pass to fellow freshman Darren Tubbs Jr.
